Belarusian Card Payments: Steam, Stars & Premium 2026

How to pay for Steam top-ups, Telegram Stars, Premium and more from Belarus with a Visa, Mastercard or Belkart card. Covers the BYN rate, the per-payment limit, Steam currency and what to do when your card is declined.

Paying for Steam, Telegram Stars and Premium from Belarus with a Belarusian bank card

A Belarusian bank card works fine at the corner shop, but in Steam or the App Store it keeps hitting a wall: "payment declined", "card not supported", and in bank top-up services a cryptic "user not found". It hurts most when that happens on the first evening of a sale.

Paying from Belarus with a Belarusian card on KRAB.GG is simpler. You pick a product (Steam top-up, Telegram Stars, Premium, GRAM or gifts), enter your Steam login or Telegram @username and pay with a Visa, Mastercard or Belkart card in Belarusian rubles. The price is converted at the official rate, you see the BYN total before confirming, and the order arrives within minutes.

Below: how the BYN amount is calculated, what limits apply, what happens with Steam currency and region, and what to do if your bank declines the payment.

Belarusian card payments at a glance

  • Cards: Visa, Mastercard and Belkart cards from Belarusian banks are accepted. The charge is in BYN at the official rate at the moment the payment is created.
  • Limit: up to 1,000 BYN per payment. A large order can be split into parts or paid with crypto.
  • Steam: top-up by login, amount in dollars from $0.5 to $1000, no password needed.
  • Telegram: Stars and Premium arrive by @username through Telegram's official payment mechanism, and Stars cost up to 40% less than in the app.
  • Declines: usually caused by disabled online payments, bank limits or unconfirmed 3-D Secure. Checklist below.

What you can buy from Belarus with a Belarusian card

A Belarusian bank card pays for the service's entire catalogue. Belarus is one of the regions we work with, along with Russia, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Uzbekistan and other CIS countries.

What's available:

  • Steam top-up — by account login, amount in dollars from $0.5 to $1000.
  • Telegram Stars — from 50 stars per order, to your own or someone else's @username.
  • Telegram Premium — a 3-, 6- or 12-month subscription, for yourself or as a gift.
  • GRAM — the coin, credited to a Telegram account balance by @username.
  • Telegram gifts — non-limited ones, including gifts already delisted.
  • Stars and Premium giveaways — an official Telegram giveaway for a channel by its @handle.
  • Telegram Ads top-up — the ad account balance via the top-up link from the Budget tab.

Every product follows the same flow: recipient identifier → amount or package → Belarusian card payment → automatic delivery. The identifier depends on the product. For Steam it's the login; for Stars, Premium and GRAM, the @username; for a giveaway, the channel's @handle; for ads, the account link.

This spares you the workarounds Belarusians usually get advised in threads about buying Stars: buy USDT on a P2P exchange, transfer crypto or switch your Apple ID region. For most buyers that's slow and risky: one mistake in an address or a setting and the money is gone for good.

Another plus: the recipient can be any account. Top up Steam for your brother, gift Premium to a friend in Minsk or send Stars to someone in Moscow — the payment flow is the same, and you don't need access to anyone else's account.

How paying with a Belarusian card works

Belarusian card payments are made in Belarusian rubles. The site shows the price in Russian rubles, and when the payment is created, the processor converts it at the official rate and shows the BYN total. You see that amount on the payment page and confirm it in your banking app, so you know the exact charge in advance.

Visa, Mastercard and Belkart

We accept cards from all three payment systems issued by Belarusian banks. That answers two common questions — can you pay with a Mastercard from Belarus, and does the national Belkart work? Yes, both work just like Visa.

This matters most for Belkart holders. Foreign platforms rarely support the national payment system, so topping up Steam with Belkart usually only works through a service that accepts it.

How the BYN amount is calculated

The formula: price in Russian rubles × official rate at the moment of payment + payment method fee. Belarusian card payments have their own method fee. It's shown when you choose the method at checkout and is already included in the total on the payment page.

Let's run live prices. Telegram Stars currently cost from ~1.39 ₽ each, so a 500-star package comes to from ~695 ₽. When you create the payment, the processor converts that amount to BYN at the current rate, adds the method fee and shows the total. Premium works the same way: the 3-month plan costs from ~1189 ₽, and the amount is then converted to Belarusian rubles.

The reverse calculation helps if you think in a BYN budget and want to know, say, how many stars 50 Belarusian rubles will get you. Convert the amount to Russian rubles at the official rate, subtract the method fee in your head and divide by the star price from the calculator. That gives you a ballpark; the calculator shows the exact number.

Rates and prices fluctuate: the current cost is shown in the calculator on the site and on the payment page. Figures in this article are a reference at the time of publication, not financial advice.

The 1,000 BYN per-payment limit

The processor accepts up to 1,000 BYN per payment. That's plenty for Stars, Premium and regular Steam top-ups. A large order may not fit, though: for example, a Steam top-up close to the $1000 maximum or a big Stars pool for a giveaway.

Two ways around it:

  1. Split the purchase into several orders, each under 1,000 BYN.
  2. Pay with crypto. We accept USDT on many networks (TRC-20, ERC-20, BSC, TON, Polygon, Solana and others), GRAM on the TON network, plus Bitcoin and Ethereum. BTC and ETH payments are converted to USDT or GRAM.

How to top up Steam from Belarus with a Belarusian card

You can top up Steam with a Belarusian card without linking the card to Steam itself. You pay in BYN, and the wallet receives the dollar amount you specified. No password or Steam Guard codes — just the login.

  1. Open the Steam top-up page or the @krabggbot bot.
  2. Enter the account login: the name you sign in to Steam with, not your profile nickname.
  3. Enter the amount in dollars, from $0.5 to $1000. That exact amount lands on the balance.
  4. Choose payment by Belarusian bank card and check the BYN total.
  5. Confirm the payment in your banking app or with the SMS code (3-D Secure).
  6. Wait for the credit: the money arrives within minutes.
Your Steam login and profile nickname are different things. The login is what you type when signing in to the client. If you enter the nickname instead, the money may go to someone else's account.

Belarusian rubles, dollars and account region

Belarusian Steam accounts use dollars; there's no wallet in Belarusian rubles. If you searched for "Steam Belarusian ruble", here's the answer: BYN only appears when your card is charged, and dollars land on the balance.

With bank methods the currency isn't always clear. In a Steam forum thread, users report that top-ups via ERIP or Belarusbank arrive in Russian rubles. So that method is only recommended for accounts that have already bought something in dollars, otherwise the store country may switch to Russia. Other users say the opposite: according to them, the money is converted to dollars. If you're looking into topping up Steam through Belarusbank in Russian rubles, check with the bank first which currency the payment will arrive in.

Topping up through the service removes that uncertainty: you set the amount in dollars, and that's exactly what's credited.

A top-up shouldn't be used to change your region. As DTF's guide to Steam wallet cards points out, wallet codes aren't meant for changing the store country, and bypassing regional restrictions breaks Steam rules. So top up an account whose region matches where you live.

The same principle answers whether you can top up a Kazakhstan account from Belarus. The top-up goes by login, not by the card's country, so technically it will go through. But if the account was created in another region just for lower prices, that's a breach of Steam rules, with all the risks for the account.

ERIP, Belarusbank and marketplaces

"How to top up Steam via ERIP" is one of the most common searches among Belarusian gamers, and those methods do exist. But each has its limits:

Method

How you pay

What to keep in mind

Service accepting Belarusian cards

Visa, Mastercard or Belkart in BYN at the official rate

Dollars arrive by login; up to 1,000 BYN per payment

Marketplaces with ERIP (e.g. ggsel)

ERIP or card

A storefront of different sellers, each with their own rate; some services add an ERIP fee on top

Bank services (Belarusbank and others)

From online banking

Not every bank offers it; crediting errors and currency confusion happen

P2P platforms (FunPay, Playerok)

Through the platform to a private seller

Speed and reliability depend on the seller

All Steam methods, with pros, cons and ERIP alternatives, are covered in detail in our guide to topping up Steam in Belarus by card.

The next reason to top up your wallet is the Winter Sale. According to Valve's schedule, it runs from December 17, 2026 to January 4, 2027, and the rest of the year's dates are in the Steam sales calendar. Top up a couple of days before it starts so you're not dealing with a bank decline on the first evening of discounts.

Buying Telegram Stars and Premium from Belarus

The easiest way to buy Telegram Stars or Premium from Belarus is by @username: no password, no SMS code, no app store region change. Stars and the subscription arrive through Telegram's built-in payment mechanism — the same official route as an in-app purchase.

Why not pay in the app directly? In-app purchases go through the App Store or Google Play, and the price in Belarusian rubles ends up noticeably higher because the exchange rate and store fee are added on top. On top of that, the app store may simply refuse a Belarusian card. Then come the tips about switching regions or using crypto — extra steps and extra risk.

Stars: from 50 per order

The minimum order is 50 stars, the maximum up to 10,000,000 at once. It's easy to pick a package for any need, from a couple of gifts to paying for content and reactions. A star costs from ~1.39 ₽, up to 40% cheaper than buying in the Telegram app. The calculator on the page where you can buy Telegram Stars shows the exact package price.

Stars go to your account or straight to someone else's: just enter the recipient's @username. That makes gifting easy — your friend doesn't have to set anything up, the stars simply appear on their balance.

Telegram Premium for 3, 6 or 12 months

Premium is available for 3, 6 or 12 months: from ~1189 ₽ for 3 months, from ~1540 ₽ for six months and from ~2640 ₽ for a year. Per month that's roughly from 396, 257 and 220 ₽ respectively. The annual plan is almost half the monthly cost of the quarterly one, so a short term only makes sense if you want to try the subscription first.

How to pay for Telegram Premium in Belarus with a Belarusian card:

  1. Open the Telegram Premium purchase page or the @krabggbot bot.
  2. Enter the @username: yours or the person you're gifting to.
  3. Choose the term: 3, 6 or 12 months.
  4. Choose Belarusian card payment, check the BYN total and confirm the payment in your bank.
  5. The subscription activates on the account within minutes.

Gifting Premium to a friend works the same way: enter their @username and the subscription goes to them. The recipient doesn't need to do anything, and you never have to log in to their account.

GRAM, gifts, giveaways and Telegram Ads

The rest of the catalogue is also paid with a Belarusian card. These products are mostly used by channel owners, advertisers and people who send gifts in Telegram.

GRAM and gifts

GRAM is a coin on a Telegram account balance. We top it up by @username, just like Stars and Premium. GRAM on the balance is spent on gifts in the Telegram gift shop and on post promotion. It's credited only to a Telegram account: we don't send GRAM to external crypto wallets.

Telegram gifts — we sell only non-limited ones, including those Telegram has already delisted. They can no longer be bought officially, but they're available through the @krabggbot bot. Limited collectible gifts aren't part of the catalogue.

Channel giveaways and ads

A Stars or Premium giveaway is an official Telegram giveaway that we pay for a channel by its @handle. A personal account or a bot won't work. After payment, the giveaway appears to the admins in Statistics → Boosts, and an admin launches it: sets the end date and entry conditions. On that date, Telegram picks the winners among subscribers and hands out the prizes itself.

  • Stars are sold as a pool from fixed packages, from 500 to 1,000,000. Telegram splits the pool evenly, and under our own rule we sell the giveaway so each winner gets at least 100 stars. For example, a 5,000-star pool allows a maximum of 50 winners.
  • Premium is given away as one 3-, 6- or 12-month subscription per winner, up to 24,000 subscriptions at once. The channel gets 4 boosts for each subscription given away — that's Telegram's rule.

Large Stars packages exceed the 1,000 BYN per-payment limit, so crypto is the more practical way to pay for them.

Telegram Ads — we top up the account in GRAM via the top-up link from the Budget tab, whether it's your account or a client's. No access to the account or login is needed. Note that it has to be the link: an @username or a numeric account id won't work. On the site you can order from 1 to 1000 GRAM, but an ad account may have its own higher minimum, and we tell you what it is before payment. Step-by-step instructions are on the Telegram Ads account top-up page.

Belarusian card declined: what to do

If your Belarusian card is declined, the cause is almost always in one of three places: the card settings at your bank, the limits, or the platform itself refusing Belarusian cards.

A few years ago, you'd simply link a Belarusian bank card to Steam and pay. Now many foreign services check the card's issuing country by the first digits of the number (BIN) and reject Belarusian ones. Sanctions have also complicated the use of cards from a number of Belarusian banks abroad, although Visa and Mastercard work as before inside the country. So "Steam Belarus sanctions" usually comes down not to Steam itself but to the payment method.

Checklist if the payment is declined:

  1. Check that online payments are enabled. Many banks require you to separately enable online payments and payments outside Belarus in the app or online banking.
  2. Check your limits. Your daily or monthly online purchase limit may be used up. Banks revise limits on online and foreign payments from time to time; current values are shown in the app.
  3. Confirm 3-D Secure in time. The SMS code or app push is valid for a limited time. If the window closed, create the payment again.
  4. Check your balance including the method fee. The BYN total can be slightly higher than your estimate based on the rate.
  5. Stay under 1,000 BYN per payment. Split a large order into several.
  6. Try another card. If Visa fails, try Mastercard or Belkart, or a card from a different bank.
  7. Pay with crypto. USDT, GRAM, BTC or ETH will do the job if the card won't go through at all.
  8. Contact support. @heIIo_stars replies in 1–3 minutes on average.

If you were charged but the order didn't arrive, don't create a second payment. Message support with the payment time and order details. If you made a mistake in the login or @username, report it right away. Better still, double-check the recipient before paying — delivery takes only minutes.

Before a big purchase, such as on the eve of a sale, place a small test order: top up Steam with a couple of dollars or buy 50 stars. You'll find out in advance whether your bank lets the payment through, instead of hunting for a second card at the last minute.

Is it safe to buy from Belarus through a service?

Buying through a service is safe as long as you don't hand over passwords or codes to anyone. We don't need them for Steam or Telegram. A Steam top-up only needs the login, Stars and Premium only the @username, and neither lets anyone sign in to your account.

What speaks for KRAB.GG:

  • Track record: on the market since 2024, rated 5/5, reviews collected on the site.
  • Support: replies in 1–3 minutes on average, service uptime 99.98%.
  • Official delivery: Stars and Premium arrive through Telegram's built-in payment mechanism.
  • Transparency: company details are listed at the bottom of every page.

How the service compares with the usual alternatives:

  • Buying in the Telegram app. With us, Stars are up to 40% cheaper and you pay with a Belarusian card in BYN. In the app, the exchange rate and store fee are added to the price, and a Belarusian card may be refused.
  • Marketplaces like ggsel. With us, the final price is visible right away in the calculator. A marketplace is a storefront of different sellers, each with their own terms and rate.
  • P2P platforms FunPay and Playerok. With us, delivery is automatic and takes minutes. On P2P you deal with a private seller, and speed depends on them.
  • Bank services. We accept Visa, Mastercard and Belkart. Bank top-ups aren't available everywhere and often only work for that particular bank's customers.

Is it legal? You're paying for digital goods for your own accounts or as gifts, without changing regions, so it's essentially an ordinary online purchase. The key is to follow Telegram and Steam rules: don't create accounts in other regions for better prices and don't hand accounts over to third parties.

Bottom line: paying from Belarus without the extra steps

Paying from Belarus with a Belarusian card comes down to three actions: enter the login or @username, check the BYN total and confirm the payment in your bank. Steam is topped up in dollars with no risk of a currency mix-up, Stars and Premium arrive through Telegram's official route, and for large orders there's crypto or splitting into parts.

If your card is at hand, open the section you need on KRAB.GG or the @krabggbot bot and start with a small order: that way you'll immediately see whether your bank lets the payment through. For payment questions, support at @heIIo_stars will help.

FAQ

Can I top up Steam with a Belarusian card in 2026?

Yes. Through the service you pay with a Visa, Mastercard or Belkart card in Belarusian rubles at the official rate. The Steam balance receives the dollar amount you entered, from $0.5 to $1000. Only the account login is needed, no password.

Why is my Belarusian card declined?

Most often, online or foreign payments are disabled, the bank limit is used up, or 3-D Secure wasn't confirmed. Many foreign platforms also reject cards based on the issuing country. If the decline repeats, try another card, split orders above 1,000 BYN or pay with crypto.

How do I pay for Telegram Premium in Belarus?

Enter the @username on the Premium purchase page, pick a term (3, 6 or 12 months) and pay with a Belarusian card in BYN. The subscription arrives within minutes through Telegram's official payment mechanism. No password or Telegram SMS code is needed.

Can I gift Telegram Premium or Stars to a friend?

Yes. Enter your friend's @username instead of yours when ordering, and the subscription or Stars go to their account. The recipient doesn't need to do anything, and you don't need access to their account.

Can I top up a Kazakhstan Steam account from Belarus?

Technically yes: the top-up goes by login, not by the card's country. However, the account region must match where you live. Steam rules forbid creating an account in another country for cheaper prices, and doing so puts the account at risk.
